Ógra Extends Solidarity with Member Injured in Fascist Attack

Ógra Shinn Féin wishes to extend our solidarity to one of our members who needed hospital attention after he was badly beaten in Dublin yesterday by Fascist thugs.

The attack happened at the Customs House around 14.00 when anti-fascist counter protesters were attacked by attendees of a far-right demo who were armed with knives, steel bars and other blunt instruments. The Antifa counter protesters were unarmed. Several of these fascist thugs were subsequently arrested.

It is very lucky that we are only talking about a hospitalisation because on a different day he could have lost his life, such was the viciousness of the attack. Ógra wishes him a speedy recovery and calls on An Garda Síochana to bring sufficient charges against those who were involved in this vicious attack.

An injury to one is an injury to all. ¡No pasarán!
