Newry Ógra Shinn Féin hold AGM

Sinn Féin Óige Oirialla held their Annual General Meeting for the coming year this evening in Newry. Sinn Féin representatives provided the group with a political update followed by a discussion on plans for the year ahead.

Speaking after the meeting, newly elected Chairperson Neal Rush said: 

“It’s an honour to be elected by my comrades for this role. Ógra are a key part of the republican movement and we have big plans for the year ahead to further our cause.

"I would encourage any young people in the Newry/Armagh area who want to get involved to get in contact and join the biggest, fastest growing youth movement in Ireland.”
